Hello everyone, I do hope that this message finds well in health and happy in spirit. My name is Lindokuhle Leonardo Zumana, a self taught photographer who fell in love with Photography about two years back as a student at the University of Fort Hare in Alice. Nature, architecture and and other interesting views drew me into this amazing world of images and creativity. Ever since then my interest has grown greatly, and so has my creativity. Always learning new things on the go with my camera. I absolutely enjoy working outdoors in nature, with and/without people, just as long as I get perfect images.
My only problem for past two years has been on the business side of photography, I'm not much of a business person, I'm more on the creative side, I enjoy creating content on top of content. As a consequence to that, I haven't made good money to purchase proper equipment to elevate this Got given visual prowess. I still have a long way to go, a lot to learn, hence I enjoy traveling, because I always meet people who add value (in terms of knowledge & experience) to the vision that I have going into the future.
Good equipment such as light strobes, triggers, speedlights, lenses, filters and professional camera body to name just a few is what I am really after at this stage. Right now I am using an entry level camera, the Canon EOS 2000D with a crop sensor. Have been using it for the past two years, with three lenses, the Canon 50mm f/1.8 + Canon 24mm f/2.1 prime lenses and the Canon 55-250mm zoom lens.
I have been trying to obtain professional photography material but to no avail, sometimes I see myself as a failed Photographer but my heart refuses to give up and keeps on pumping creative ideas inside my head. Anything would kindly be accepted, from used Photography equipment that is just laying there in your home collecting dust to donations I would gladly welcome with an open heart and do you proud by producing greater quality content for your viewing pleasure. Images are everything, they capture the essence of all that is beautiful in its own unique way, at the same time preserving that Beauty in time. Freezing time in photos, capturing moments is what I truly live for. My passion lies there. My dream is to travel across this beautiful country of ours, capturing all this beauty before heading out for Africa and the rest of the world. I even tried out employment but that didn't work out the way I thought it would, instead I found myself in money troubles instead of a little bit of financial freedom. Working in retail can really do a number on a person. The creative juices that I live off of just died when I did my nine to five. I couldn't cope, it was like I was committing suicide, I mean my camera is like my baby now. I just can't let it sit at home and do nothing. I constantly wanna use it, learn from it, of which I've learnt so much to date. Hence I have been trying to obtain professional equipment.
Your help will not be wasted on me, I will make sure to put it to good use, so that I too may be in a position where I'll get to help another person who will be in this very same position in a different time in the future.
